For 75 years, Trinity Mother Frances has been taking care of women, providing them a place of comfort, healing, encouragement and outstanding medical care. Generations of East Texans have been born and nurtured at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. Mother Frances Hospital is also dedicated to post-surgical care for a variety of conditions, including Postpartum, C-section recovery, Women's Urology, Women's Plastics and Reconstruction following breast cancer surgery. However, the rooms in the hospital serving these women need major improvements to provide modern amenities and comforts to our patients and their families.
Mother Frances Hospital has earned national recognition for a high standard of quality care as a 100 Top Hospital. We want to assure that every woman coming to us for inpatient care also has a “top 100” patient experience by providing the best possible environment for healing and recovery.
The older areas of our hospital now serving many of our women inpatients are no longer adequate. Small, crowded, outdated, and lacking in modern amenities, many of these rooms do not offer private showers, have inadequate bathrooms, and do not meet patients’ needs. Built in 1962 and last remodeled in 1986, they are in need of updating to current standards of care. So we are excited to announce a capital campaign to create a new, state-of-the-art Women’s Health Unit.
With the support of generous donors like you, the fifth floor of the Dawson Tower of Mother Frances Hospital will be renovated, opening 27 spacious new private rooms. Each room will offer the amenities available in the Ornelas Tower at Mother Frances, beautifully decorated and equipped to care for a wide spectrum of women’s services, including:
• C-section recovery
• Women's Urology
• Women's Plastics/Reconstruction
Your gift will make a difference in promoting health and healing for thousands of East Texas women. Thank you.
