The clinic aims toward the early detection and treatment of lung nodules and thoracic malignancies through reducing delays in the evaluation and treatment of patients.

Patients referred to the Lung Nodule Clinic can expect to receive an appointment with Trinity Clinic Pulmonary Medicine as early as within 48 hours of the request. The Lung Nodule Clinic initiates standardized follow-up and treatment pathways specific to the current disease process of each patient.

Sophisticated care

The Lung Nodule Clinic offers early detection, diagnosis and treatment of lung disease and disorders using the most advanced screening and treatment options.

The program utilizes low-dose chest computerized tomography (CT) screening and follow-up pathways recommended by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). The low-dose CT screen offers less than one-fourth of the radiation doses of standard CT screens. Trinity Clinic Cardiothoracic Surgery specializes in minimally invasive video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) that offers fewer complications and shorter recovery time than traditional thoracic surgery techniques.

The experts at Trinity Clinic Pulmonary Medicine and Trinity Clinic Cardiothoracic Surgery work closely together with radiologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists to assess each patient’s condition to determine the most suitable treatment plan.
