With Lifeline, a personal emergency response system, in your home you can enjoy your freedom, and still feel secure that someone is there for you when you need them. If you need help, one press of the "Help" button will activate the in-home communicator unit. The "Help" button is small, lightweight and waterproof and connects you directly to a caring Lifeline Representative who will talk to you to determine what kind of help you need. If you are unable speak, the Lifeline Representative knows exactly what to do next. If professional assistance is needed, the Lifeline Representative will call for it immediately. Or the Lifeline Representative can call one of your designated "responders" - a friend, neighbor or relative - who will come to your house and check on you.
