Strokes, also known as brain attacks, are serious medical emergencies and during a stroke, time lost is brain lost.  Many people don't know the warning signs, and the earlier a stroke is detected and treated, the better chance the patient has for recovery.  Call 911 and ask to be taken to the Trinity Mother Frances Stroke Center immediately if you experience any of these symptoms:

Severe and sudden
•Dizziness
•Headache
•Trouble seeing
•Trouble speaking
•Numbness or weakness on one side or another

Minutes saved can save vital brain function.
