Pastoral Care Department of Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics
The Pastoral Care Department provides patients, their families, employees, physicians and volunteer staff of Trinity Mother Frances support and counseling services presented in an ecumenical spirit. Chaplain services are an integral part of our faith-based health system, in keeping with our mission of providing healing for the whole person—body, mind and spirit.
Professional chaplains or chaplain residents provide pastoral care to patients, their families and staff. The chaplains serve as a part of the interdisciplinary health care team. A chaplain is on duty in the building at Mother Frances Hospital-Tyler at all times. Chaplain service is available at Mother Frances Hospital-Jacksonville on a part-time basis.
The Pastoral Care Department is an accredited provider of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). Up to ten CPE students participate in the programs annually.
Pastoral Care services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. To contact a chaplain, please call the Pastoral Care Office at (903) 531-4567. For urgent needs, call pager # (903) 510-1759.
